Wife left that morning to a business trip for a week, I was alone with the kids and they were starting to miss her and being bored. I had to take a new approach since there was no toy or Netflix show that would change the mood. After a little bit of thinking outside the box to the beach we went. It was cold, windy and very wet from the rain that had just stopped, but also one the best experience we shared. The adventure of exploring what the recent storms brought to the beach and the mysterious things we saw in the rocks proved more fulfilling that any technological pacifiers. Before that day I’ve never thought about how fun it can be to got to the beach in wintertime.
